Louth Lions Support Local Search and Rescue Team with £3,000 Donation
Lincolnshire, 10/10/2025 — Lincolnshire Search and Rescue (LincsSAR) is delighted to announce a generous donation of £3,000 from the Louth Lions Club.
The funds will contribute towards essential training and lifesaving equipment, ensuring the team can continue to assist Lincolnshire Police in the search for high-risk missing persons across the county and beyond.
LincsSAR is made up entirely of trained volunteers who are on call 24/7, 365 days a year, ready to respond to emergencies in all weather conditions. Support from local organisations like the Louth Lions plays a crucial role in keeping the team operational and equipped to save lives.
Lincolnshire Search and Rescue would like to express their sincere thanks to the Louth Lions for their partnership and commitment to community safety.

About Lincolnshire Lowland Search and Rescue (LincsLSAR)
Lincolnshire Lowland Search and Rescue (LincsLSAR) is a member unit of Lowland Rescue. We are part of the UK Search and Rescue Operators Group, alongside Mountain Rescue, Cave Rescue, HM Coastguard and RNLI.
Lowland Rescue is dedicated to locating vulnerable missing persons and providing support during medical incidents or natural disasters. Serving Lincolnshire and surrounding areas, LincsLSAR’s fully volunteer-based team collaborates closely with Lincolnshire and Humberside Police and is available 24/7, 365 days a year. LincsLSAR also assist Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service and work alongside the Lincolnshire Resilience Forum (LRF) during major incidents.
Donations play a crucial role in supporting this life-saving work, which is part of a nationwide network with over 2,100 professionally trained volunteers and 35 teams.
